MY GRANDMOTHER CAME FROM SOMEWHERE IN EAST PRUSSIA.
SHE HAD A RECIPE FOR CINNAMON
CAKE. IT WAS ONE LAYER HIGH, INSIDE TASTED BETWEEN A HOT MILK CAKE AND A BREAD. THE TOP WAS COVERED WITH CINNAMON,
BUT WHEN SHE CUT IT , IT MADE A CRUNCHING SOUND. SOMETIMES
SHE WOULD PUT IT IN A BOWL AND COVER IT WAS MILK TO SERVE, THE WHOLE
FAMILY LOVED IT, BUT NOBODY GOT THE RECIPE. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS A GERMAN RECIPE OR NOT BUT SHE WAS A VERY GOOD COOK. IF ANYONE HAS THIS RECIPE, I WOULD SURELY LOVE TO HAVE IT.
