I am amazed about this cinnamon cake thing.
This certainly was not eaten in East or West Prussia.

My mother (from Kletellen, Kreis Niederung, Ost Preussen) made a
similar cake. But then, she married a man (my father) with roots in
Sachsen-Koburg-Gotha (his father) and the Rheinland (his mother),
so I would assume that this is a German/Prussian cake of some
sort.

I dont think that there was any cinnamon in it.

without cinnamon.
