My Great Great Grandfather was Christian Fuchs and was born in Germany December 4, 1829.? He married Johanna Hauschild who was born November 4, 1837. Before coming to America they lived?on a farm at?Steddort, Hanover, Germany.

I understand Christian's father came from the Wiesbaden area to Bremerfoerde.? I do not know his name.? I am looking for any history on Christian's family?--- his parents and grandparents,etc. and for the Hauschild Family.

Either Christian or his father?was the person who picked up dead animals and disposed of them and was the area executioner in Steddort...l think it was Christian.? Does anyone know what all his duties would have been as the executioner in those days?
