Thank you for your kind offer. My great-grandfather was born in Hannover
about 1830-1832. His name on German documents was given as Karl von Bloh. In
America it was Carl Bloh. His occupation was shoemaker and he married
Magdelena Hook on 18 October 1853 in Frankfort au Main.
They emigrated shortly after that date. He may have had a brother Josef. I
would appreciate any information you can provide. Please send me further
