I have several of your surnames in my family tree, also. Namely, Schultz,
Schmidt, Kelm, and Eichhorst. What area of the US did your family settle? I
know Schultz and Schmidt are very common, but adding the other two names
makes me think there could be a connection.
My family are all in the Will and DuPage County area of Illinois.
