Hello all .
I found it difficult from the available resources to search for Catholic Ahlers family members in the huge volume of this family name members. So I set up a site Catholic Ahlers/Alers/Ahlerss families of Southern Oldenburg on "My Heritage" dealing prmarily with families from the triangular Vechta landkreiss ,Bakum Visbek Dinklage Bahlen & Lohne . Heiko Ahlers has previously suggested that with the exception of Southern Oldenburg and part of Emmsland ,the great majority of Ahlers people in Oldenburg were Lutherans .
Right now it is a skeleton with no doubt errors and omissions .I invite everyone to contribute or suggest improvements or amendments .The website can be found on http://site845e1784b0d2bk31945.myheritage.com
