Thanks Dolly for the clarification, but as the genealogist that helped her
learn her way around the Mecklenburg records some years ago, and worked on
the Gohsman and other branches of her family tree, she goes by Carol Bowen,
her married name. Her maiden name was spelled Gohsman and it is only in
earlier records in the 1700's that variant form Goosman shows up in her
family tree. My post was just meant to let everyone know that it her
wonderful site that was being discussed and not a new one by the little
known Carol Gooseman was all. It is a great site and a help to anyone who is
researching in this area. I commend her for her hard work.
