Dear Silesians,
with some sadness, but because of changed priorities I have to say bye bye to
the list for the time being.
In the year and a half of my presence I have learned lots about the origins
of my ancestors and have made fascinating discoveries. For example, the
relatives in Alabama, US, and people who personally knew my grandfather, who
already died in 1942.
I send my thanks to all participants for their contributions and hope that I
helped others as well. Good luck for your own research!
Genealogy will remain a hobby for the rest of my life and I am looking
forward to any message about this subject. I am summarizing here my areas of
research. The timeframe is from about 1850 until 1945:
