I cannot find it as a given name in Germany in 1998, but KIRSCHBAUM there are two in Hildes-heim. Are you sure about what was first, the marriage or the immigration ? If they surely had already left Germany then, we will not be able to find the marriage documents here. Know to less about marriages on the ship, which might also a possibility, if there were reasons. And third question: what was Julius profession ? A peasant for example made less traces in official documents as a gold smith.
