Büscher Hannover/Prussia

Lee,
the name Büscher is a very common in northern of Germany. The phone shows 3443 addresses.
I assume your Büscher came not from Lingen area, because this is a catholic area.
The former Kindom of Hannover became 1866 a province of prussia, maybe this is the reason for the different notices.
You can check this on my website www.honkomp.de, there you should click "Atlas/Maps".

Werner

Werner;
Thank you for the information on all the Bscher's. I will have new
information soon about my ggf Ernst Bscher and his wife Marie. A Lutheran
Church in Cleveland Ohio found them listed in the old German church book
yesterday. They found a maiden name for Marie. They copied the information
and are sending it to me. I also found out this information about the
church.
Here is the church.
Deutsche Evangelisch-Lutherische Dreieinigkeitsgemeinde (now known as
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran). Formed by members of Die Erste
Evangelisch-Lutherische Zionskirche. Member of the Missouri Synod. Founded
in 1853, its first
edifice was erected in 1858. Friedrich Konrad Dietrich Wyneken (b. 13 May
1810 in a parsonage at Verden, Hannover, d. 4 May 1876 San Francisco,
California) served
there from1864-76.

It may be a coincidence that Ernst + wife Marie Bscher came to Trinity
Lutheran in Cleveland Ohio the same year as the pastor Wyneken from Verden,
but it may also be that they followed him from Germany. I found Verden
between Hannover and Bremen. I will have to wait and see.
