Buch/book: The Achilles Family from New Hampshire, 1596 - 1990

Hallo Zusammen, (English below!)

im Zusammenhang zu vorausgeschickter E-Mail bin ich auf der Suche nach folgenden Buch, das ich unter
http://famlit.genealogy.net finden konnte:

SMITH, Walter Burges (1962): The Achilles Family from New Hampshire, 1776 - 1961. Henry the
"Hessian" soldier and his descandants. With mention of the family in Europe and its other American
branches.

Nach ausfhrlicher Recherche im Internet scheint es sogar eine erweiterte Neuauflage dazu zu geben:

SMITH, Walter Burges (1991): Achilles genealogies, 1596-1990: Henry the "Hessian" soldier of New
Hampshire and fifteen other Achilles families of North America : with note of the antiquity of the
surname Achilles in Germany

(English)
In addition to my previous e-mail (unfortunately only in German) I'm searching the following book I have found on http://famlit.genealogy.net:

SMITH, Walter Burges (1962): The Achilles Family from New Hampshire, 1776 - 1961. Henry the "Hessian" soldier and his descandants. With mention of the family in Europe and its other American branches.

After an intensive research in the Internet it seems to be that there exists also a new extended print:

SMITH, Walter Burges (1991): Achilles genealogies, 1596-1990: Henry the "Hessian" soldier of New Hampshire and fifteen other Achilles families of North America : with note of the antiquity of the surname Achilles in Germany

With these books I hope to learn more about "my" Achilles-family from Apelnstedt/Brunswick and maybe more about the Futtermenger-family also. If somebody is in the possession of any of these books or knows how to get them (in Germany) I would be appreciated about an answer. Neither in the Family-Library in Hanover, nor through national library lending service, at Amazon.com nor at ebay it was possible for me to get one of these books.

Mit den besten Gren/With kindly regards,

Bjrn

Hello,

That book can be purchased from this page:

http://www.higginsonbooks.com/aaker-akersSC.html

It's listed there, but whether you can actually buy it may be
questionable. Not cheap.

A copy of both books is available to be seen at the Genealogical Forum
of Oregon. I don't know how close you are to Oregon! Maybe someone there
could do a lookup for you.

   http://www.gfo.org/library/ then go to 929.2

You could also look at the New Hampshire Genealogy website:
http://www.usroots.com/~usgwnhus/

Good luck,
Barbara
