Ich forsche nach einem Hermann BRUNYER/BRUNIGES aus K�nigreich Hannover. Er war 12. Apr. 1797 oder 1799 geboren. Eltern: Martin BRUNIGES und Maria Sophia OTTEN. 19. Jan. 1829 hat er Lucy CRICH in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England geheiratet. Nach 1846 ist er von England nach America umgezogen, und vor 1880 ist er da gestorben. In England arbeitete BRUNYER in der Zuckerindustrie.

Ich wei�, dass der Name in Hannover ziemlich verbreitet ist. Ich wei� von vielen Orten, woher er n i c h t gekommen ist. Kennt jemand diese Familie BRUNYER/BRUNIGES?

I am searching for a Hermann BRUNYER/BRUNIGES from the kingdom of Hannover. He was born 12 Apr 1797 or 1799. Parents: Martin BRUNIGES and Maria Sophia OTTEN. He married Lucy CRICH in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England on 19 Jan 1829. Sometime after 1846 he moved from England to America, and died there before 1880. In England he worked in the sugar industry.

I know that the name is quite common in Hannover. I also know of many places where my Brunyer is NOT from. Does anyone know this particular family of BRUNYER/BRUNIGES?

Hi Rose,
     There are a couple of places where your Brunyers are listed. They both
say Hermann was born in Hannover, Hannover, Germany--that must mean the city
of Hannover. I checked on the following sites and searched there:
   http://www.geneanet.org/ and http://www.gencircles.com/
    Unfortunately, they don't go back much further. Finding people in large
cities is no fun! Does that help at all?
