Thank you for your reply. There possibly is a relationship. Helena Brundiers
(aka Lena) listed her parents names Gerhard Brundiers or Brandiers and
Gertrud Schumaker on her marriage certificate in St. Louis, Missouri 6 Nov 1856. I
will do more research after I attend the German Interest Group workshop in
Whitewater, Wisconsin July 15.
