Hello Mr. Bruggenschmidt,
my name is Johannes Enneking, Damme Germany. Here in Damme/Oldenburg is
still living an Enneking family, called Brueggenschmidt. In former times
they lived directly in Damme but since 40 years 1 mile outside the town.
In July 2005 we will have a family reunion here in Damme. More than 30
americans will attend.

With best regards
Johannes Enneking

Werner:
I would like to visit with you when you come to Cincinnati in August. I need to give you a copy of the Hellebusch family tree.
What days do you think you would be available?
Thanks for all your help.

Dennis Hellebusch

Moin Johann,

Ward ihr mit Frl Enneking aus Essen verwandt. Sie war dort lange Jahre
Lehrerin. Sie folgte Frl Kröger welche allerhand historische Arbeit in
Essen geschrieben hatte.

I am not able to connect with any of the four listings. I only know my G/Gfather Heinrich Bruggenschmidt is.----Naturalization states: June 1849 from the port of Rotterdam to port of Baltimore; Grand Duke of Oldenburg (passenger list National Archives no luck). Obituary states: He was born 6 May 1825 in Oldenburg, Province Prussia, Germany.

I am looking for the village he was born in, his parents & siblings. (LDS microfilm catholic church records Damme, Germany no luck).

I have hit the wall, any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hope to see you in at Motel KY in Newport, KY Aug 19 to Aug 21, 2005.
