Hello,
I am a descendant of the Brenner family, who emigrated from the
city of Birkenfeld to southern Brazil in the 19th century. At
that time, Birkenfeld belonged to the Duchy of Oldenburg, even
though it is geographically distant from it. (It is nowadays
located in Rheinland-Pfalz near the Nahe river.)
I am looking for any kind of information about the Brenner
lineage.
Please let me know whether you think I am posting to the wrong
list, due to the peculiar location of the city of Birkenfeld.
