Doesn't anyone have any information regarding the 'Sachsen' town of origin
for Georg Phillip Brehm(ca 1727-1776) and his wife, Elisabeth Heller (ca
1727-1801) who sailed from Rotterdam on the 'Betty' onMay 16,1752?
There is a town called Sachsen bei Ansbach in Bavaria which is near (or a
part of?) Ansbach. You can do a search on Google and you may find something
helpful there.
The LDS website (www.familysearch.org) lists this:
Georg Brehm 30 DEC 1726 from Oberntief Mittelfranken Bayern (Bavaria)
The town of Oberntief is in the same general area as Sachsen bei Ansbach --
Oberntief is just northwest of Bad Windsheim.
The Mormons have a book on the history of the church of Sachsen bei Ansbach
which is on microfilm as well (probably in German). It has an index.
