Many thanks to all the people who responded with helpful suggestions to my
request for a book about life in Oldenburg 1900-1925. I will follow up on all
of them. One member gave me the title of a book with photos of Oldenburg at
that period:
"Oldenburg in alten Ansichten" by Hans-Peter Heit Schneider and Jorg
Deuter. I was able to find a bookseller with a copy, and I believe at least part
of the book is in English.
I also found a website with many photos of old Oldenburg which members
may enjoy perusing:

Other titles suggested by members appear to be available in local
