Hilfe fr eine Australierin:
Sie kennt 2 Einbrgerungsbescheide aus den Jahren 1864 und 1866.
Einmal heit es:
Johann Heinrich Boemeke, geboren in Westerode im Koenigreich Hannover,
Germany,
Hochzeitspapieren Henry (also wohl Heinrich) genannt.
Forscht jemand Bmeke und kann der Dame ggf. mit weiteren Vorfahren
weiterhelfen - sie hat schon einmal alle Bmekes in Duderstadt angeschrieben
aber leider keine Antworten erhalten.
Alle Antworten ber die Liste oder direkt an mich werde ich gerne bersetzen
und nach Australien weiterleiten.

Hello Christine,
I have just returned from holidays and I have noticed your posting.
Please, can someone translate Christine's message into English for me? Then I can fully understand exactly what information is required. I live in Australia, I may be able to help you, I gather you are looking for descendants of Johann Bömeke.
Greetings from Australia

Hello Elisabeth,
what I wrote is the question of an australian women.
She only knows the immigration-papers of Johann Boemeke from 1864 and 1866 -
one tells he is born in Westerrode Kingdom of Hannover and one tells he is
from Duderstadt.
She is not looking for descendants - she is looking for ancestors in
Duderstadt. Give me your eMail-Adress I will try to connect you both.
Greetings from Bavaria in Germany
Christine

Elizabeth.....this is the result of my system's translator, hope it helps:
Help for an Australian: you knows 2 naturalization information from the years 1864 and 1866.
It first is called: Johann Heinrich Boemeke, born in Westerode in the kingdom Hanover, Germany, was he/it in the country (Australia) since 10 or more years, date 26. April 1866 and secondly: Johann be date of July signed 1864 both ones from Duderstadt - Gemany - with Johann Boemeke.
He/it came to Australia at the 8. Aug 1854 on the ship "wall cream". the ship is from Hamburg at the 20. Run out April 1854. The ship papers call him/it a smith from Westerode.
Since he/it is supposed to have at his/its wedding with Mary Byrth on the 31.Dez.1858 26 year, he/it was born 1832 about. His/its father becomes Henry in the wedding papers, therefore probably Heinrich, named.
If somebody searches Bmeke and can help the lady with further predecessors if necessary - she/it didn't write up any answers unfortunately gotten all Bmekes in Duderstadt already once, however.
All answers about the list or directly at me I will translate gladly and to Australia will refer.

Dear Carol,
Thank you for your message, however I would rather not use a computer generated translation, this type of translation usually gives incorrect meanings of words which only confuses people. I usually ask my German friends here in Australia to translate important documents for me. I just thought it would be quicker to ask the list as no one appears to have answered the Bömeke inquiry.
One of the best translation services on the Internet is the "Yahoo translation/transcription group" because it uses real people who understand the structure of the German language and are familiar with old German script. When translations are needed for fellow researchers I suggest that they subscribe to this group of experts, they are fantastic.
Thank you again Carol for you help, I have e-mailed Christine who has given my e-mail addy to Sue, the lady making the inquiries, I have also been in contact with her and advised that the LDS has filmed all the records she needs. All the church addresses are in the German phone book for Duderstadt/Westerode, or perhaps she could contact:
Pfarrbüro
Marktstr. 6
37115 Duderstadt. Germany
This Hannover list is terrific, thank you to everyone for being so helpful.
