I thank you all for your assistance re the Bode Family, However,
I do not think my Bode is connected. My Third Paternal Great
Grandparents Hannes Carl Friedrich PIENS and Caroline Charlotte
PIENS ( geboren BODE) (Lutherisch) were domiciled in the Hannover
area and I believe they died in Hannover. I have no knowledge of
the family emigrating to the USA.

I have margarethe Elisabeth BODE born 1702 in Holzerode, Hannover she
married Johann Christoph LECHTE in 1720. She was the dau. of Jost and Anna
Margarethe (nee BRENNER) BODE.
I was wondering if she links up with your Caroline Charlotte BODE. Regards,
