I have found that there were two BODE families in Hannover Township, Illinois in the 1848's based on a Library of COngress Map that was found at the Arlington Heights Library in Map Drawer C, in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
I believe that there was a cheesefactory shown at the end of Bode Road. THe road began in Schaumburg Township at about Roselle Road and ended at this cheesefactory.
I mention this only to give another area for research on the BODE Family.
