Well Jackie, when you say Hannover Germany, that could be the city or it
could be the region. If it is the region, that is pretty vast. Altho I
know some of the Bode's came from the Hannover region but west of the
city, near or in Empede. Click on this link,

In addition there is a Bode in Germany that might help you,
willi.bode.berka@t-online.de The reason I know, The Bode's are close to
being related to the Marhenke's altho I have not made the connection yet.
