Hi,
I just found our I have an ancestor born in Brockhorn, Oldenburg.
His name was Johann Freidrick Janssen. He was born in 1849 and his
parents were Herman Janssen and Geske Brunken. His wife was Katherine
Lena Bredehorn and her parents were Herman Bredehorn and Lena Witt.
She was 8 december 1855 in Oldenburg but no specific town listed.
They came to America in about1896. A son Fredrieck, came with them.
He was a son by a previous marriage but I'm not sure who was married
before.
Anyone else researching any of these people? Do you know where I
can get more information? Does anyone know if the LDS has film from
that area? I looked in their web site and couldn't find the town.
Any information will be appreciated.
