Any clue as to where in germany he lived, who his parents and siblings
were. A foothold on where to search from Philadelphia. A passenger list
showing him and his wife. Any clue that would lead me to information of
this kind.

I believe that this is not a query list. There are other lists for queries. None of the other lists on genealogy.net appear to be in English.
rootsweb.com has many lists for Germany and for surnames.

I am pleased to take your recommendation and shake the dust of your list
understand that it is a mistake and eliminate the message again. I
obviously do not understand what your list is for because I have never
gotten such an uncivil message in the 15 years I have been involved with
