Once upon a time in the world of Hannover List I mentioned along with a few others the surname WOLLE. I mentioned Julius of the area of Atrim Watonwan county. I found the following because i wanted to see where ADEN or EDEN live. Also because I was browsing in the area of Atrim Watonwan for the Eric Meyer who had married a Dageforde daughter I ran into the tree of Rainer Struss. I tell you now he is my new genealogist Hero. He is doing so much in this area of Minnesota. The families histories are coming to light. It shows the ties to Hannover germany and to Illinois or any other country they came from to get cheap land. Because we once had the discussion on Wolle I am sharing this bit on Julius.
And Yes there was an ADEN in Atrim. Watonwan county. I think the surname is more common than I think. Because I have been finding it where I look for family surnames. In Calhoun Iowa; in Pochahantas, Iowa;Tazewell, Illinois, Peroria Illinois; Thayer nebraska; Oregon; Watonwan Minnesota/ Martin county Minnesota.
Sometimes it is known as EDEN or ODEN. The ones I was browsing for are from Grossefehn Ostfriesland. [I hope I have that right.] They resided in Calhoun county Iowa. the one I found who died in Pomeroy Calhoun county. bob Borchers has this.

One day I proudly brought in my newly purchased old book of Calhoun county to my break time and was reading it. A college girl sitting there said her grandmothers family was from Calhoun county. I mean really, we both live in Wi and I had no clue. [Her other connection is Drew.]She looked and yes it was her family. Who also had connection to Pochahantas county as well. I lent her my book.
I have shown her Heritage quest which is free but I can't bring up calhoun county iowa for some reason. I wanted to check on her family while she borrowed my book. I did not have the names or dates written down. I have tried to access it through ancestry publications and have not had success. I have seen it online before. But finding the right key words is big accomplishment!
As I was browsing for her name, I made the above discoveries. Which I suspect will lead to the Janssen tree connection by shirtales to what we have in Martin and Watonwan county. Involving various surnames I have..........[ i would never have looked into Aden or Eden]
I do know so far that surnames Gerdes pops up, as does Schone, Casper, Phillips,Ahrens as I search for Aden name.And a big one that I can't recall. It seems to be where My Dagefordes have resided as well. and Dagefordes did reside in Wi. Around Milwaukee and a Marsch* town or something like that. Their tree Mentioned on line as well. Maybe I have mentioned that Dageforde comes from Dagefoerde village in Bergen Celle. [and fanned out a bit.] I am curious about that name Henke.
The moral of my story is put the info out there and they will come. Or talk talk talk about it, you never know what the backgroound os of that stranger.
I appologize for long story and any mixups about borchers name. I do have an interest in Ferdinand Borchert/ Marquardt/maybe Otte. name that resided in greene or Calhoun and lived in Watonwan county. Not sure if they were related to those who lived at Truman. Connection again to Iowa with names Gollwitzer/ Herman [I think] Borchert tree on line. Atrim county watonwan. And some Martin county. That Gollwitzer connection goes into my Martin, Wieland, Stolle, Meyer etc trees of few other counties of Iowa as well as Calhoun and Greene county...You know they usually tie into Pochahantas and Webster.
Enough already. I have mixed you up even more. Most should be at ancestry or world connect.And some at this point is speculation.
