the Emmigration lists are in the Staatsarchiv in Hamburg. Until now are some years 1890-1903 already in the computer and part of them
online.<www.hamburg.de>
and than klick " Link to your roots" Or Historic Emmigration Office <www.heo-online.de> Thats a good help when you already know the ship, the
Emmigration lists can be more helpful than the Immigration list in USA. There are still other ports in Europe for Emmigration, some people took
indirect Emmigration
(perhaps cheaper) from England or other harbours.

German Emmigraton lists do not yet exist here on CD. I dont know whether the CLD
(Mormons) filmed that material, try there.
