Bloedorn and hamel

I am trying to research my Great Grandparents, both of whom emigrated from
Pottsdam.My Great Grandfather, Carl Bloedorn, arrived in the USA on 18 Sept 1882
on the ship Australia. The Australia sailed from Hamburg. My Great
Grandmother, Elizabeth Hamel, emigrated with her mother, Marie Hamel, and possibly other
family members. She arrived on 14 July, 1881 on the ship Braunschweig, which
sailed from Bremen. Any suggestions or information is appreciated.

Hello Kevin,

I just recognized the name BLOEDORN in your mail. Do you have any further
information on Carl BLOEDORN? Maybe how old he was in 1882? I have some Karl
and Carl BLOEDDORNs in my papers, but they aren't from Potsdam. Nevertheless
I can have a look at them, but the age would be a great help.
