My great-grandmother was born in Konigsberg on the 9th Jan 1879. I would be
very grateful if anyone could give me more information.

Hi Jurgen,
I'm afraid not. I only know a few other details. Her father was a clerk,
and was listed as deceased at the time of her marriage in one document. His
name is written as Carl once in the documents, and the others it is written
Charles.
I have two sources where her birthplace is listed as Königsberg, her
marriage entry, and a British passport renewal from 1938. Her passport
renewal shows that she provided them with a document "Frankfort on Main ppt No.
1610 of June 20, 1930 " which was a passport she received in Frankfurt, but
I've been told she needed to reside there to get a passport specifically
from Frankfurt. I checked a directory for Frankfurt residents at the time,
and did not find anything.

There was one instance where the word Cavill came up. It was either on a
document, or it could have been written on a photo (I'm certain it was a
photo), I can't quite recall nor locate it right now. It said Bertha
Elizabeth Cavill, though we are not sure where that originates.
This is pretty much all the information I have on her.
