What genealogy site should I use to access information about forebears from the area of Berlin?

You can get film numbers for city directories and parish church records at
the Mormon site: www.familysearch.org. Many of the Berlin parishes are
extracted, although not all. You can find the extracted ones on that same
sight, under the "search" tab. You can use the city directories to locate
the address where your ancestors lived and then use www.progenealogists.com
to use the jurisdiction "book" that I put together to find which parish and
civil registration district they lived in. Also, you might want to sign
up for the "Brandenburg" list serve, like this one for Schlesien, but that
deals with info on Berlin and surrounding areas.
