Hallo Hans-Peter,
Seit 1881 hatte Wilhelm Stueven hier in Diepholz ein Textilgeschaeft.
1898 bis 1910 war er Buergermeister. Er war in Scheessel geboren.
Das Geschaeft gibt es nicht mehr,
aber die Familie blueht und gedeiht.

Als Lesezeichen aus einem antiquarischen Buch entnommen: eine
Fotographie der
Belegschaft eines Tuchgesch�ftes. In drei Reihen hintereinander vor
den etwa vier
Meter hohen mit vorwiegend karierten Stoffen posierend sind acht
Personen abge-
bildet. Der unterer Rand tr�gt das Datum: Januar 1901. Auf der
R�ckseite sind die
den einzelnen Personen zuordnungsbaren Namen angegeben:
BOLLAND, GR�TZMACHER, ENSE(durch Besch�digung des Karton sind Lesarten
m�glich),
MOOR, KLEINEKE, GEBERS II, ST�VEN, KNOPP, Frl. ST�KEL.
Kennt jemand einen Verk�ufer f�r Stoffe mit einem der Namen f�r 1901
und kann den
Ort und Namen des Gesch�ftes angeben ? Fotokopie gegen Portoersatz
m�glich.
