Ich suche alles zu den Familiennamen

Behrendt
Schilaski/Schilaske
Bettin und
Grieg

in Ost und Westpreußen, aber auch in Pommern und Brandenburg.

im Zeitraum 1840 bis 1910.

Bekannte Orte aus Briefen sind

Neuteich
Neuteicherwalde
Dirschau
Graudenz
Linde
Stolpmünde
Sedlinen

Postbeamte und Bahnangestellte wurden leider so oft versetzt, dass ich keinen rechten
Anfang finde.

Hallo Wolfgang,

den Namen BETTIN habe ich bei Durchsicht der ev. KB von Gramtschen (Landkreis Thorn) gelesen,
außerdem ist dort folgende Heirat eingetragen:
12.3.1820 heiraten Elisabeth BEHREND und Jacob LIEDTKE, beide aus Brzozowka/Dobriner Land.
´
Im KB Ossowka/Landkreis Lipno fand ich folgende Einträge:
1865 Heirat Karolina Behrendt und Jan Schwanke
Geburten:
1862 Lodwika in Dobrzejewice, Eltern Pjiotr Sonnenberg und Ewa Berendzke
1844 Lowyka in Brzozowka, Eltern Jacob Litke und Elzbieta Berentow
1842 Michav in Brzozowka, Eltern dito.

LIEDTKE und SONNENBERG sind meine väterlichen Vorfahrennamen.

Hello Robert,

I think it could be - but I am not sure-, that Bittins and Bittens is a changed form of Bettin. Most of our anchestor are not able to read or to write and so the pastor wrote the names how he heard it.

I noticed of the Churchbook Gramtschen/ district Thorn, Eastprussia:
Marriage Nov,16. 1701, Ertmann Bettin and Anna.

Another Bettins I did not have, but I read more.

Specifically The family of David Bittens/Maryke Glaubitz ca 1840, and Samual
Bittens/Emma Potscke 1863.

In which town, place or area lived your anchestors?

Thanks for your reply.
My records has the Bittens family living in Loge East Prussia between 1863
and 1896.
My mother in law Gertrude Auguste Bittens, was born July 23, 1898 in Russ
Landkreis Heidekrug. Emma Potscka (Puschca) was born 1862 in Karkeln East
Prussia.
My Babin family name is also spelled numerous ways in various genealogy
records.

Hi Robert.
In my family there is a Mari (marie ) Bittins married to a Ensies Kestenus
in east prusia. I do not know when she was born but she gave birth to a
child in 1881.

Again thanks for the info.
My wife's grand father was Samual Bittens born in 1863 in Loye.
Samual's father was David Bitten and we have little records on this family.
Perhaps your Mari connects with Samual.
The Bitten or Milkereit family was said to have come from Sweden. Again no
record of which one.
