Hi Petra,
The LDS films have a Number, and some times a Batch Number.
With this number you can see registers of a locality.
Ex: In IGI you can write the next number M950531= Mariages of Sankt Peter
Katholisch, Verdinger, Rheinland,Preussen
Greetings from Brazil to You and Germany friends
Hello,
To find what is available for you to order from the LDS (Mormans), go to
the LDS website:
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp
Go to Family History Library Catalog on that page.
Choose Place (or other choice listed there) and put in whatever town or area
you are researching. You will get a list of items available. In the case of
Goslar, there are a large number of available materials. Choose any of
them. Then go to "View Film Notes" - there you will find what films are
available and you would take the FHL numbers that are there in order to
request the film you may be interested in. You go to your nearest LDS
center to order the film and view it there.

Hi Leni,
I see, you have some answers now. Perhaps you did already a search in the
LDS-Library-data bank.. With your ancestry data, you gave me, I can not
offer help. It's not Goslar. You have to search directly for Heimburg, now
Sachsen-Anhalt (belongs to Wernigerode or Blankenburg). I believe that
Heimburg belonged to the district of Goslar by the time mentioned. Heimburg
ist not in the LDS-Library and there is no church in Heimburg (mentioned in
the phon-directory is the church of Blankenburg).
