Bassum

Wow!! Thanks Barbara. I need to find someone to write in German, don't
you think? Thanks again Bob

Hello Bob,

Here is the site for the Bassum Evangelical church:

         http://www.kirche-bassum.de/

There is a nice website. It appears that you can ask
questions.
There is an email site near the top of the page. The LDS do not have
records
for Bassum.

Good luck!
Barbara

Thanks Barbara,

Hello Bob,

There is an email option (on the top of the site) at Bassum. I would try
asking your questions in English and see how they answer. The Germans know
more English, than we do German, you know. If you get a return in German,
you can use an online translation - or one of the German on the list.

Good luck,
Barbara

Diepholz, 17th of November 2009

Dear Bob,

The Meyer family you are looking for is not be found in the Bassum vital records. A reliable local friend has searched them for you.

Have you tried Bassen (also spelt Bassum in 19th century) in the church parish Achim ?

What about Bassens in Ostfriesland, church parish Burhafe ?

What about Basum in the catholic church parish Ankum ?

Greetings from Diepholz

Falk Liebezeit

Hello Bob, maybe you should look for KG.Basse@evlka.de
