Banteln/Deinsen/Marienhagen/Thüste, Marhenke info

Well the new year is about on us and I thought I would make a last appeal
for information, maybe some new blood has joined the list. My MARHENKE
line has been traced back to the Banteln area. My gr Grandfather
CHRISTIAN MARHENKE bn 1825, left Marienhagen in 1854 and came to Indiana
USA. It is possible he left behind a brother HEINRICH CONRAD LUDWIG
MARHENKE who was born 31 July 1829 at Diensen/Marienhagen. If in fact
this brother stayed in Germany and raised a family I would be very
interested in tracing his family line. Other names associated with the
MARHENKE'S are MEYER, MEIER, STEINECKEN, LEHNHOFFS, CRULL.

Happy New Year 2004 Bob Marhenke, Lincoln NE

Had this finding of a photography developed 3.7.1968 of an old man of about 70 as
a photographer himself as a bookmark in an English school-book, titled "Peter Pim
and Billy Ball" of an Gerhard CRULL. Accordingly to the rubber stamp inside the
book it was outlended to this Gerhard CRULL by the Catholic primary and middle
school in 2 Hamburg 1 in the Danziger Str. 60 and Schmilinsky str. 70. Counting
back from school age for the book-user to the real age of Gerhard, he must have
been born about 1950.

Would like to hand over the foto to someone researching the CRULL-name and family

Best wishes for 2004 Hans Peter Albers
