Hello everyone, I have been advised that my Great Grandfather came to
England in (approx.) 1900 from Ellwangen, Germany BY BALLOON!!!!
Dos anyone else know of this method of immigration please? I would love to
know more.

There is about 170 km from Ellwangen to the Bodensee. At this time the
Zeppeline were built in Friedrichshafen. Surely came your ancestor by
Zeppelin to England.
