you are wrong, unfortunatly Wysocki is and was a very common name ( like Miller,Smith or what ever). You find this name in every country all over the world. And it is a very old name. It's origin is in cashubia in german KASCHUBEN. There you'll find the first notes with this name before 1200. So for instance if you assume a generation with 25 years you will have about half a million anchestors.
