I have a line of the Bassen near to Ringstedt near Bremerhaven. But these are not with certainty the right things. Since with this line a Bassen marries about 1860 and goes only about 1865 after Beverstedt, a place in the area of Ringstedt.
Your Margaretha Bassen would have to be born about 1822. Do you have there still nearer information?
Very much likely she(it) is a descendant of four Bassen-great fathers whom I investigate. If you know the date of birth of the Margaretha Bassen, or better still the parents, then I can already help you perhaps.
