the emigration papers for Oldenburg you can find at the state archive of Oldenburg, for the place Torsholt it was the Amt Westerstede and for the city of Oldenburg the Amt or the town Oldenburg.

There are no Town lineage books for Torsholt or the town Oldenburg. You can find church books in the state archive.

If you give us the name of the person you're looking for we can try to find the person.

Thanks for the quick response. I am trying to locate the German emigration records for three individuals:

(1) Anna Pieperjohanns - born October 1872 Torsholt - immigrated March 1892 or 1893 (Hamburg Passenger List)

(2) John G. Ficken - born March 1870 Oldenburg - immigrated 1884 or 1885

(3) George Ficken - born May 1877 Oldenburg - immigrated March or April 1893
