Your reference to the site www.auswanderer-oldenburg.de ? is an excellent one .However I note that the emigrants are predominantly Lutheran and I could not find any Roman Catholic members of the Ahlers or Eilers families . What is the reason for this ?

There are only about 40,000 names in the database. There were amny
more emigrants. This is obviously a work in process which has limited
source material.
