It's the long awaited German archives being put on line and I haven't been able to keep my nose out of the site since it first appeared on the hannover list. As far as I can understand the blurb, some American money has been allotted to help quicken up the process but I may be wrong. As well as applications for migration, there are records of those who went without consent and I've discovered there's even a letter from some aggrieved farmers complaining the price of using the new mill was too steep. Even my elusive Franze FLAMME is on line.

A few days ago there was a problem getting on site - maybe it's had too many visitors.

I just checked...it's still down. According to another of our list members, they had a Denial of Service attack.
   
  Is there a detailed English guide for navigating the site? I try to use Bablefish, but I can't seem to make sense of it.
