I have transcribed the Oythe records from 1653 until 1718. I did not find
any AUMANN family in the records between those dates. I can send you the
records if you are interested.

I found names in your list which sound quite familiar. I have Frye (1440-1724), Lammers (1490-2005), Meyer (1600-1655), Repking (1440-1719), Fortmann (1610-1716), and Wilking (1450-1759) from the Oythe area. Are you interested in DOC-files on these families (in German, but I hope you have access to an internet translator like babelfish)?

I see that you have transcribed the Oythe records. I am trying to locate a Hermann Henry Hellmann born in 1830. We know there are ancestors of the Hellmanns from Oythe. However, I cannot locate this specific Hellmann (found one in Cloppenburg born in 1831). Do you have knowledge of other locations for Hellmanns where I should look? I also know there are Hellmanns in Alfhausen but he is not in that group either. Census documents for U.S. say he was from Hanover.

Ich interessiere mich f�r Friesoythe, betreffend Johan Napken genannt 1567
also Ratsmann zu Friesoythe, und 1582-1584 als B�rgermeister zu Friesoythe
und dessen Sohn, Wilcke aus Friesoythe. Wenn Sie mir Hinweise dar�ber
