I have a database from Ronald Repking with persons from Effingham. In that database I found the couple Kreke-Dreismann and the information that both were born in Oldenburg. I think your ancestors were Roman-Catholic. So they could have come from the parishes Damme and Neuenkirchen (Oldenburg). But do identify the right persons we need more informations about them. When were they born?
