Dear reader,
searching for katholic death records in Elk (Lyck) from 1897 I received ambiugous information:
the archdiocesan archive in Regensburg (Germany) does not possess copies of that time and refers to the archive of the Archdiocese Ermland (Warminskiej) in Olsztyn (Allenstein),
others suggest to directly ask the parish St. Adalbert in Elk (Lyck).
I do have those two addresses, but no names.
Can you give an experienced advice or any definite contact address?
