On my 1831 Hanover map. I find Merzen on the road leading from Grafeld, SE
to Bergan>Bippen>Doten>Ancum>MERZEN. There is only one town [unreadable]
between Merzen and Bramsche. It is only about two miles [British] northwest
of Bramsche. It could be Karspel, but. . .?

I use GEO to find where towns in Germany are. It is an automated program,
so you must follow directions EXACTLY. You must do three things ONLY:
