My great grandfather, Anton Wassmann, came to the USA in 1862. He arrived on July 19, 1862 on the Johannes Wilhelmine from Bremen to Baltimore. The passenger list says he was from Hannover and that he was 46 years of age and a bookbinder. I am looking for any kind of record of him prior to his emmigration. Thanks for any help.
