I belive the problem here is simply a case of read
e-mail settings. I tend to get lazy sometimes and
don't make the proper changes. Default settings can
sometimes be wild. The window I am writing this e-mail
in is an example. I have never changed it from its 55
character margins, but my receive e-mail margins are
80, so when I receive it back from the List, it will
look different-I hope.

Hello Ghyll,
Just to let you know that your message came
through on my computer
perfectly fine. I have no idea why it would look
different on Detlev's
computer, but you surely can't be blamed for that!

Hi Gale,
here it doesn't - each line isn't longer than 55 characters, as you will see in my reply - and I have set my margins to 72 characters.
I use Outlook with extra file for archives. Everything is fine - besides
the fact that Outlook crashes x-times a day and needs to be reloaded.
Yes I have updates for it. I guess we all have our little computer
problems - good that Hannover-L works so great for us, however how long
the emails are or how much characters are in a line. Who cares, the
content is what we are starving for and the rest might minor problems
for other IT related lists...
