Hi Martha,

do you know our page www.auswanderer-oldenburg.de? There you can find some Steinkamps. But we don't know where they lived after living Oldenburg. Maybe someone of these people was your ancestor und you could give us informations about hin amd his family? Or do you have another Steinkamp emigrant from Oldenburg we don't have on our page?

Some of my relatives came from the Steinkamp family and went to Cincinnati. Maybe we are relatives?

we have been fortunate to locate a steinkamp relative in oldenburg who has been doing research as well - he has told us about the steinkamp farm registered in the books around 1470! - he has invited us to come and visit the "ancestral farm" and we hope to do that possibly next year - although he speaks perfect english we are hoping to learn some german before we go next time- quite an undertaking! - will keep you posted - thanks for your message - m,
