I just finished a 20 year search for an elusive ancestor on my mom's
side of the family in Stollhofen (Baden). I know the date of birth of Anna
Margaretha Kruse as 1 Feb 1834, and that she had a sister, Mary. This family
was Catholic and nicht evangelisch. I've known this for over 20 years,
but never went any further to find her origins. I do have ancestors in
Lohne, Damme and Emsland. I'm at the starting point of this research and will
continue from here. I've already check the Steinfeld film and she wasn't
there. So I will continue to search leads.
Thanks for your answer to my inquiry and hope the elections in Germany go
the way you want them to go.
