Anna Dorothea von Handrup, Neuenkirchen bei V�rden, Kr. Vectha

Dear List Members,

I am searching for the parents of Anna Dorothea von Handrup. She married Johann Herman Nienhuess in Neuenkirchen bei V�rden, Kr. Vechta on 19 Oct 1705. The Catholic church marriage record does not indicate her parents. However, the godparents of two of her children are Anna Margaretha von Handrup, and Herman von Handrup.

I do not find entries for any von Handrup prior to 1705. I understand there may have been von Handrup's in the Damme area at this time.

Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance.

Hello Linda,

the origin of the "von Handrup" (today von Handorf), is a farm in Holdorf-Handorf, just between Damme and Holdorf.
Holdorf have since about 1800 own church, before about 1808 you can find the records at the church books of parish Damme St.Victor. The records of birth started 1650 - you should find this by LDS.
