Hi folks,
I am interested to hear from anyone who is able to give any details regarding my ancestor Andreas Jacobus Bester, who, at about 7 years old (i.e. born about 1705) left Magdeburg bound for South Africa in 1712 (he sailed in the ship Beverwyk). We do have details of his descendants in South Africa, but very little about his parents, or grandparents.
