I have been doing some research on my German ancestors. I have 2 Catholic
nuns in the line up. They both were in the same order which was founded in
Germany. The eldest was the second American born student that they had in
O'Fallon, MO. You might check with the archdiocese in the region that you are
looking for to see it there is or was an order there at that time. I was able
to get quite a bit of info from the archivist of the order that I was in
contact with. Photos, etc. Good luck
